Congratulations!!! You have been invited to be a part of our class blog!

Your first blog case assignment, visionaries, is to create your first post on our 9th Grade Math B Blog. Your e-invitation was sent to your new email account, which Mrs. Collins opened for you.

REMEMBER THAT YOUR SCHOOL EMAIL ADDRESS IS TO BE USED FOR SCHOOL STUFF AND CORRESPONDENCE WITH MRS. COLLINS ONLY-DO NOT USE IT AS YOUR PERSONAL EMAIL ACCOUNT, BECAUSE IT WILL BE MONITORED.

Follow the directions below to create your first posting:

1. Open up the web page www.gaggle.net

2. For username, type in your first and last name together with no spaces. Also, no capital letters; all lower case.

3. For password, type: bronxprep. Then log in.

4. Click the 'Accept' button.

5. You are now going to open your invite to be a member of the 9th Grade Math B Blog that is found in your inbox. It is important that you click only once on the link, and follow the directions given.

6. To become a member of our math-b blog, click the underlined link ONCE. It will take you to another web page to invite you to be a member of the Math B blog. Go down to the bottom of the page where it says "Not a Blogger User?" and click the BLUE button: Create an Account.

7. Fill in the sheet EXACTLY as instucted below or you will be DELETED from our class blog:

User Name: First AND last name

Password: Choose a password you will remember. If you forget it, you will be off our blog and unable to complete class projects.

Display Name: Your First Name (REAL name, not a nickname)

Email address: yourfirstandlastname@gaggle.net

Then check the box to accept the terms of service.

8. Once you have become a member of the blog, you can create your first post! Click on 'create', and in the Title section write your first name.

9. Write 1 paragraph (5-15 sentences) introducing yourself to the blog community, with such info as your name, year in high school, school, hobbies, favorite classes, zodiac signs, etc. Then discuss what you have learned so far in Math B class this year. Finally, conclude with your thoughts on what a math blog is and your goal for our Math B blog over the course of this year.
